ABOUT
PRACTICE
Dr David Johannes de Villiers grew up in Ficksburg in the Eastern Free State. He completed his medical degree MBChB at the University of the Free State in 2005.
He then moved on to Gauteng where he completed his internship at One Military Hospital, Pretoria, followed by community service in Knysna in 2008. His aim has been to pursue a career in surgery and for that reason he spent another year at Knysna provincial hospital as a general medical officer during 2009 and another two and a half years at George Provincial hospital as a general surgical medical officer where he gained further extensive surgical experience.
